We are a management consulting firm based in Cambridge, Ontario that manages a team of over 20 tax credit specialists, engineers, computer scientists, process improvement and management system specialists. 

We help our clients:

  • Apply for relevant federal and provincial tax credits or other government subsidy programs
  • Earn registration to ISO 9001, TS-16949, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, OHSAS 18001
  • Save money and improve processes using tools like lean, six sigma, theory of constraints and kaizen.

Organizations may be eligible for a tax credit or refund of between 30% - 66% of the cost involved with the following (potentially eligible) projects:

  • Cost overruns because of unexpected technical problems
  • Trial and error testing or experimenting to learn how to make products or to improve processes
  • Technical projects that didn’t go as planned or the results were not as good as expected
  • Developing new products or processes, or making improvements to existing products and processes.
  • Clinical trials
  • Lab work performed by your organization, or that was outsourced by your organization.

Success or failure of the project is not a requirement for being awarded a successful claim. 

Also, most first-time claimants are eligible to claim for projects conducted in the current and previous tax years.

Management Support Network provides organizations with a “front-to-finish” SR&ED package which includes:

  • Identifying eligible projects
  • Writing the technical portion of the Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) submission (working with your technical employees)
  • Working with your administration/ accounting staff to pull together the value of the claim
  • Preparing the tax schedules to support the amounts claimed
  • Working with your SourcePoint office to merge the SR&ED submission with your tax return and to discuss tax planning strategies to minimize the overall tax burden.
  • Meeting with government auditors or other officials to facilitate the acceptance of the claim.

Professional Fees:

Options:

  • Contingency fee of 25% of the Investment Tax Credits earned.
Option B:
  • Pay-as-you-go at our current billing rate/hour.
